Why cotton rather than bamboo?

Contrary to popular belief, 99% of bamboo textiles on the market are actually bamboo viscose produced through polluting chemical processes using caustic soda and carbon disulphide.

While the plant itself is eco-friendly, its transformation into textile fibre rarely is.

We chose pure cotton, a natural fibre, chemical-free and gentle on the skin.
