Philip Valero

Producer of PDO Olive Oil from Provence - Tradition of Know-how

"L'Or de Provence"

In the heart of Provence, Philip Valero  continues the olive-growing tradition with his family with passion and expertise.

His estate, bathed in sunshine and rocked by the Mistral wind is home to century-old olive trees that produce an Extra Virgin Olive Oil of exceptional quality.

The olive groves stretch across rich and generous lands where the region's iconic olive variety, the Aglandau grows.

It is slightly cylindrical with a pointed or blunt tip and a slight curvature.

This is why "L'Or de Provence" olive oil envelops the palate with harmonious and persistent aromas of green fruits with notes of almond and raw artichoke. With its deep green color and creamy flavor, it is renowned for its bitterness and sweetness.

It was in 1935 that Philip's grandfather, Francisco Valero, planted his first olive grove in Volx. This passion was passed down from father to son until in 2019, Philip Valero and his brothers invested in the "Valero & Co" mill to produce his own olive oil.

From pruning the olive trees to picking the olives, crushing them and bottling the oil, the family business produces authentic olive oil with respect for nature and the environment.

Each harvest is carried out at optimal maturity, then the olives are cold pressed by mechanical processes in their Mill in order to guarantee a pure, authentic olive oil rich in aromas.

Keen to demonstrate their commitment to quality and the environment, the operation favors respectful practices such as :

   - A sustainable culture that respects the olive-growing ecosystem

   - PDO Provence Certification

   - Transmission of ancestral know-how for an authentic and 100% natural oil
